Great Mex Grill started steps from the Balboa Pier in 2002 and never strayed far from what made it great: scratch-made food, honest prices, and a welcome that feels like home.

I don't know how to describe the food. I stayed down in the area and went multiple times as it was that good. I consider driving the two and a half hours just to get it almost daily. 110% is a must.
