Elliejuenger Best Mexican food around! I've been coming here for almost 15 years and the quality has stayed consistently awesome. Their breakfast burritos are great, and their corn tortillas taste delicious. Did I mention the salsa?! Because that is also to die for. You won't regret coming here for any meal.
8 months ago Robynisatrip When I moved to the peninsula, I didn't expect much as far as great food, but this is my favorite neighborhood spot and I eat here at least twice a week. It's all great but for me the standouts are anything with carnitas involved (incredibly delicious), and the Chile rellenos which are decadent cheesy heaven. I've never had a bad thing here…it's always super consistent, fast and friendly. It saves me more often than I like to admit, lol.

over 1 year ago Ajr817 Great Mex is one of the biggest things I miss about living in Costa Mesa. We went there every Friday night for tacos y cerveza! Best chips and salsa as well. Best part of my week. Whenever I am in the area, I always make a stop at Great Mex for my fix!
almost 2 years ago Nicole I love Great Mex Shrimp tacos. They are the best.
about 2 years ago News4laurie We love the soft tacos. Chicken tastes great & we'll mix it up with beef, hard shells, etc. and swap as a family. Yummy tacos that hit the spot.
about 2 years ago Blakebehle Excellent food and service! Been eating here for over 10 years always my first option for Mexican.
over 2 years ago Stephenschnack I had the Pollo tacos, and they were delicious. Soft moist premium chicken, seasoned to perfection... I threw in some chips and helped myself to the salsa bar. Some carrots, pepper, and tons of salsa later, I am a VERY happy camper. Thank you, Great Mex!
